esisuisse, the Swiss deposit insurance company, needed a complete redesign of its website. The key challenge was to create a platform that was not only modern and user-friendly, but also capable of handling extremely high visitor numbers in crisis situations – especially in the event of a bank failure. The website had to be able to scale from normal utilization to peak loads within a very short time in order to reliably provide bank customers with information in times of crisis.
